What is an IP Relay operator?
An IP Relay Operator facilitates communication between individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech disabilities and those using standard telephones. They relay typed messages from the caller to the recipient and voice responses back to the caller through an internet-based system. This role requires strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict protocols.
