About the Role
Simple Mining operates large-scale cryptocurrency mining sites, and we’re looking for someone who can keep up in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Osage, IA. No remote work. You must be able to commute daily.

Must be living in Iowa to be considered for this role.
Starting pay: $18/hour

What You'll Be Doing

Keep Operations Running

  • Track and close work tickets quickly

  • Prioritize machines that need attention

  • Maintain accurate records in Foreman and other systems

Repairs & Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues

  • Read miner logs and resolve performance problems

  • Handle overheating, replace filters, and keep machines running efficiently

Network & System Support

  • Monitor machines using Foreman and BTC Tools

  • Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues

  • Set up IPs and bring new miners online

Site Support

  • Assist with setup of miners and pods

  • Keep the site clean, organized, and secure

  • Support and train team members as needed

What We're Looking For

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of hands-on or technical experience

  • Basic understanding of networks and IP addresses

  • Comfortable learning new systems and entering data accurately

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to do physical work

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ASIC miners or similar equipment

  • Familiarity with Foreman or BTC Tools

  • Network setup or troubleshooting experience

Let's Be Real About the Physical Demands
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 75 lbs occasionally

  • Stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the day

  • Work in tight spaces around equipment

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Comfortable in loud environments (hearing protection provided)

  • Flexible schedule may be required (evenings/weekends if applicable)
