Warehouse Job in Phoenix, AZ

VGM Fulfillment is a national leader in CPAP machine and resupply order fulfillment. As an employee-owned company, every person at VGM has a personal stake in seeing business succeed. We do this by taking responsibility from our customers for the key operations of order fulfillment: picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. Our network of fulfillment centers is strategically located throughout the United States providing coverage to all 50 states. This role needs to be present onsite at our warehouse location in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Purpose Summary: The purpose of this job is to do what is most necessary to continue and improve production in the warehouse. Keeping regular maintenance on the machines and parts is a common occurrence. Working with others within the facility to uphold a high standard of cleanliness and safety is a priority.

Reporting Accountability: Warehouse Supervisor & Team Lead

Working Location: Onsite at Phoenix, AZ warehouse

Work Hours Classification: Full time, Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meets or exceeds departmental expectations.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized
  • Loading the outbound trailer
  • Pick up cardboard and fill compactor
  • Filling in, if necessary, to keep production in a "positive" state
  • Warehouse cleaning (floor scrubber operation, sweeping, etc.)
  • Using the pallet jack to move machines from one location to a more proximal location
  • Break down pallets of machines by breaking down smaller cases of 4 to 5 machines
  • Capable of working overtime if needed, including extra hours during the week and some Saturday mornings.
  • Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business.
  • Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds.
  • Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management.
  • Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives.
  • Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe required to assist with other departmental functions upon request.
  • Maintain a clear and organized work environment by ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and materials.

Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Able to function independently and as part of a team
  • High school education

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for a majority of the day
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 15lbs
  • For CPAP Utility Associates, ability to lift boxes up to 35lbs
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
