Job description

Location: This position is based on-site in Lebanon, KY. Remote work is not available.
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Employment Type: Full-Time
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering project schedules and capital investment projects.
  • Develop and support proprietary IoT systems for machine connectivity and centralized data collection.
  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and electronic control systems.
  • Support IoT integration, EDI systems, and manufacturing technology improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to develop and deploy solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
  • Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, controls troubleshooting, and industrial networking.
  • Experience with Ethernet, CC-Link, serial communications, IP addressing, and system integration.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Manufacturing, TS, and ISO standards.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) development, and design reviews.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and suppliers.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and Visio)
  • AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
  • Industrial automation, controls, and IoT technologies
Physical & Work Environment
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
  • Frequent standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.
