Job description

KODE Labs is seeking a full-time Product Manager — Optimizations to lead the development of data-driven and model-driven product capabilities.

You will work closely with Data Science, Engineering, Design, customers, and domain experts to turn data and algorithms into reliable products that improve operational performance. Building-industry experience is valuable but not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Own the strategy and roadmap for optimization, analytics, and decision-support capabilities.

Work with customers to understand operational goals, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.

Define clear optimization problems, desired outcomes, baselines, and success metrics.

Partner with Data Science to translate customer needs into analytical or predictive solutions.

Partner with Engineering and Design to make model outputs reliable, understandable, and actionable.

Define requirements for data quality, model inputs, monitoring, explainability, and feedback loops.

Run pilots and experiments to measure real-world impact and determine whether to scale.

Track KPIs such as efficiency gains, realized savings, recommendation adoption, model performance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

5+ years of Product Management experience building software products.

Experience with data science, machine learning, forecasting, recommendations, analytics, or optimization products.

Strong understanding of how models move from experimentation into production software.

Experience defining baselines, experiments, product metrics, and measurable business outcomes.

Ability to make complex model outputs understandable to customers and internal teams.

Experience working across Data Science, Engineering, Design, and customer-facing functions.

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience with mathematical optimization, time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, or predictive analytics.

Experience building products that recommend or automate operational decisions.

Experience in energy, smart buildings, HVAC, IoT, or another operationally complex industry.
