About the Role:

We'relooking for a DevOps Software Engineer whooperatesat the intersection of application development, infrastructure automation, and deployment orchestration.You'llcontribute to backend services written in Go, Python (Django), and Kotlin (Spring Boot), supporting JavaScript SPAs and PostgreSQL databases - andyou'llown how that software is configured, deployed, andoperated.


Whatyou'lldo:

  • Support the fullapplicationlifecycle, includingdesign, development, testing, release, andongoingsupport
  • Deploy andmaintainapplications across dev, test, and production environments
  • Write andmaintainAnsible playbooks for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment
  • Improve reliability, consistency, and observability across application stacks


Qualifications:

Technical Skills

  • Docker, Docker Compose, Docker Swarmstackdeployment
  • Experience with GitandGitLab CI/CD pipelinestoautomatebuilds and deployments
  • ExperiencedevelopingandwritingAnsible scriptsandusingAWX
  • Artifact management via Nexus (Docker,PyPi, Maven/Gradle, Git LFS)
  • Experience with deployment tools such asPortainerorForeman
  • Observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack,Portainer
  • Linux systems experienceincluding BASH Scripting
  • Git workflowexperience (git flow, image promotion)
  • FamiliaritywithREST, WAMP,gRPC, RabbitMQ, and databaseslikePostgreSQL
  • Build tools: pip/Poetry, Composer, Gradle/Maven, shell scripting


Professional Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • 3+years of professional software development experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Eager to learn and enthusiastic aboutnew technologies


Bonus Points:

  • Experience withAWS or other cloud platforms
  • ExperiencedevelopinginPython, Go, Kotlin,orJavaScript/Typescript
