Job Summary:
Commercial Programming Systems, Inc. (CPS) is an Information Technology consulting and staffing company. They are currently searching for an iOS Engineer to build and enhance next-generation mobile applications supporting millions of users worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable iOS mobile applications using Swift.
• Build and enhance features for enterprise-level mobile commerce applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA teams, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
• Implement modern iOS architectural patterns including MVVM and VIPER.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automation test suites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using debugging and crash analysis tools.
• Analyze and optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile application build processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on software quality and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software solutions.
• Strong experience in iOS mobile application development using Swift.
• Hands-on experience coding in Swift to develop enterprise mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture and mobile application lifecycle.
• Experience with Reactive Programming concepts and frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience using Git/GitHub and distributed version control systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting experience using debuggers, loggers, and crash reporting tools.
• Experience analyzing memory issues and memory leaks using Instruments and related profiling tools.
• Understanding of embedded real-time systems and resource-constrained environments.
• Experience with command-line build tools and Continuous Integration processes.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience implementing MVVM, VIPER, and other modern mobile architecture patterns.
• Experience with automation testing, writing test cases, and test automation frameworks.
• Experience developing unit tests and integration tests.
