About The Britton Group

The Britton Group is a premier provider of intelligence and national security solutions, specializing in mission-critical IT services, enterprise digital transformation, artificial intelligence, full stack development, multimedia design, and advanced intelligence support.

With over 25 years of experience delivering innovative, secure, and agile solutions to the federal government, we are a trusted partner to the Intelligence Community.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning the full software lifecycle—from concept and design through development, deployment, and sustainment.

You will design and develop custom software tools and techniques for the Apple iOS platform, contribute to innovative cyber capabilities, and help transition research efforts into operational use. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues using both commercial and government-provided tools, producing clear documentation for operational support, mentoring junior developers, and driving mission objectives forward in a fast-paced environment.

  • A firm understanding of network fundamentals and how networked systems operate

  • Experience diagnosing and debugging complex software issues using COTS and GOTS tools

  • The ability to document developed software and techniques for operational use and sustainment

  • Experience mentoring or leading junior developers in mission-driven environments

Additional Experience That Adds Value
  • Understanding of CNE techniques and methodologies on macOS or iOS

  • Objective-C, Swift, or C++ development experience

  • Familiarity with Apple platform internals and security mechanisms

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a fast-paced, evolving team environment

Education

An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Benefits

  • 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting

  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees

  • Company-paid long-term and short-term disability, basic life, and AD&D insurance
