Lead iOS Developer Length: 12 Months Work type: Remote As a Lead iOS Developer , you will drive agile scrum teams forward and play a key role in building customer-facing mobile applications in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver high-quality apps, including meal planning and eCommerce solutions. While this role is primarily hands‐on development, it also involves strategy, mentoring, and training.
Over time, you may oversee a team of iOS developers. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of experience developing iOS apps (expertise in Swift , with working knowledge of Objective‐C and Xcode ). Prior experience as an iOS Developer Lead is a plus.
Experience in project planning for large or highly complex projects. Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, from UI/UX to backend systems and API integrations. Familiarity with Agile tools, processes, and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications Ability to lead and participate in designing and implementing large-scale or architecturally significant applications. Experience establishing development best practices and mobile application standards. Strong problem‐solving skills with adaptability and creative thinking.
Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the design, coding, and unit testing of applications using SDLC best practices. Collaborate with Product teams to plan new features, gather requirements, and propose solutions. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and determine appropriate technologies.
Research and implement new interface development techniques. Support the entire application lifecycle: concept, design, testing, release, and maintenance. Champion company standards and continuously improve software delivery processes.
