What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Ionic Capacitor Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Ionic Capacitor Developer, you need strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, web development (HTML, CSS), and experience with the Ionic framework and mobile app development. Familiarity with tools like Capacitor CLI, Node.js, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android) as well as knowledge of RESTful APIs is typically required. These skills ensure robust, maintainable applications that deliver a seamless user experience across multiple devices.

What are some common challenges developers face when working with Ionic Capacitor in cross-platform app development?

One of the most common challenges developers encounter when using Ionic Capacitor is ensuring consistent behavior across different platforms, such as iOS, Android, and the web. Platform-specific plugins or native functionalities may require custom configuration or troubleshooting. Additionally, integrating third-party native plugins may involve writing custom bridge code or dealing with compatibility issues. Collaborating with both frontend and native development teams can help resolve these challenges and streamline the development process.
