Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a part time professional, reliable, and friendly dental receptionist to join our great team in our state-of-the-art office! 1 year of previous dental or medical front office experience required. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and a team-player, along with having a warm and calm demeanor. Communication, time management and multi-tasking skills a must. Strong emphasis on customer service. We are looking for a part time team member three to four days per week.
Office Hours:
Monday & Wednesday- 9 am to 6 pm
Tuesday & Thursday- 8 am to 5 pm
Office highlights:
General dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dentrix software. Digital x-rays, digital scanners, dental lasers.
Supportive team, family-like environment, friendly established patients.
Job expectations:
- greeting and checking in patients
- updating contact and insurance information as needed
- answering phones
- scheduling appointments, including making follow-up appointments
- checking office mail, email, texts, and voicemail
- collecting patient payments
- keeping front office & waiting room areas clean and orderly
- following HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
Experience and requirements:
- previous front office (dental/medical) 1 year
- experience with Dentrix a plus
- exceptional customer service and phone skills
- ability to be professional but also warm and friendly with patients
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multi-task, time-manage, and problem solve
- proficient with computer software- Microsoft, Google, Gmail, etc
- willingness to help team members as needed

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
