Job description

Davlyn is a privately held real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition, renovation, management, and disposition of multifamily properties across California, Arizona, and Nevada. We believe a people-first culture is essential to our success. That is why we offer leading industry pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for upward mobility through career training and education. If you are ready to join us and start your extraordinary journey, the opportunity starts here.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a high-energy, technically savvy Investor Relations Associate to join our team. This is not a behind-the-scenes role; you will work directly with our CEO and CFO to execute the firms investor relations strategy and manage our relationships with a large and growing base. This position offers a seat at the table and unique exposure to the inner workings of an established, vertically integrated investment firm.

Our Culture & Collaboration: This is a full-time, in-office role at our Del Mar Heights headquarters. We have a fantastic team and believe that the best work happens through proximity and spontaneous collaboration. We take pride in our open door policy, ensuring every team member has direct access to leadership and a voice in our shared success. You will be joining a tight-knit environment that values mentorship, professional development, and the energy of a shared workspace.

What You Will Do

  • The Voice of the Firm: Draft and manage sophisticated investor communications, including quarterly reporting, updates, and social media content.
  • Relationship Management: Function as a primary point of contact for our investors, providing exceptional service and professional responsiveness.
  • Operational Excellence: Meticulously track investor correspondence and follow-ups to ensure every touchpoint is executed with absolute consistency and accountability.
  • Protech Expert: Take the lead on our Juniper Square platform, ensuring our investors have seamless access to their documents and reporting.
  • Capital Support: Oversee the investor subscription process, including the coordination and distribution of legal documentation. You will also support capital activity through tracking, reporting, and spreadsheet-based analysis.
  • Event Strategy & Execution: Organize and support investor events and high-impact initiatives that reinforce the firms investment platform and highlight our proven track record.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside the CFO to prepare financial reports, investor presentations, and analysis for our multifamily portfolio.

Who You Are

  • A rising star with 57 years of professional investment management experience, ideally within multifamily real estate or a high-level executive support role.
  • Technically Proficient: You are highly skilled in Excel and Word, and you likely already know your way around Juniper Square.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You possess a rare blend of analytical ability and polished, professional writing skills.
  • High Accountability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take immense pride in the precision and quality of your work.

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected annual starting salary for this role ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Elevated level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.
  • Confident, polished, and effective in communicating with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Initiative-taker with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

Education & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (required)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years supporting C-level executives or similar roles (required)
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and editing professional business correspondence (required)
  • Experience with investor relations platforms such as Juniper Square (preferred)
  • Background in investor relations and/or multifamily real estate (preferred)
  • Exposure to financial reporting and analysis (preferred)
  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience (a plus)
  • Experience creating presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools (preferred)
  • Valid drivers license and insurance.
  • Employment with Davlyn Investments is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as required by local and federal law.
