Investment Data Analyst - Financial ServicesOverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical Investment Data Analyst with strong financial services and capital markets experience to support investment operations, portfolio analytics, and data-driven decision-making across public markets portfolios.This role sits at the intersection of investment management, finance, and data analytics, working closely with portfolio managers, operations teams, and technology partners to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and usability of investment data.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and validate investment data across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and institutional portfoliosSupport portfolio analytics, performance reporting, and attribution analysisDevelop dashboards and reports to provide insights into portfolio exposures, risk, and returnsPartner with investment operations to reconcile positions, transactions, and valuationsEnsure data accuracy across investment systems and reporting platformsCollaborate with finance teams on NAV, cash flows, and accounting data alignmentIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance data governance and reporting automationSupport system enhancements, data mapping, and integration initiativesRequired Qualifications3-7+ years of experience in financial services, asset management, or investment operationsStrong understanding of public markets (equities, fixed income, derivatives)Experience working with investment data, portfolio systems, or financial reportingAdvanced Excel skills; proficiency in SQL preferredExperience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)Strong understanding of financial instruments, pricing, and valuation conceptsAbility to work cross-functionally with investment, operations, and finance teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with investment systems (SimCorp, Aladdin, Charles River, Geneva, etc.)Experience with performance & attribution reportingKnowledge of risk metrics and portfolio analyticsCFA Level I+ or progress toward CFA designationBackground in capital markets, institutional asset management, or pension funds
