Job Description
The Associate Director, Digital Investment is responsible for managing day-to-day digital media buys and investment operations for their assigned client(s). You'll be responsible for cultivating team, client and marketplace relationships and ensuring effective investment allocation across digital. As an Associate Director, Digital Investment, you'll develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure digital investment success for the agency and client.
Responsibilities
• Drive the strategic agenda as it relates to investment across digital media channels
• Leverage marketplace knowledge to deliver high-value media opportunities with compelling value proposition and competitive advantage
• Direct and elevate recommendations from media partners/publishers to ensure delivery against objectives.
• Establish brand standard processes and guide strategic media buyers to complete best in class campaigns
• Continuously pursue new vendors/partners to assess benefit, value, and applicability; issue partner POVs
• Attend all client media briefings and actively contribute to the development of media strategies; partner with strategy team on tactical presentations, recommendations, and budget allocations
• Attend all media plan presentations and oversee the execution of the media buy; ensure seamless execution against stated objectives, within budget and timing parameters
• Lead optimization efforts for digital campaigns; troubleshoot ad delivery and ad performance
• Partner with Analytics on weekly reporting and pacing reports; deliver and present post campaign analyses with clear recommendations for future campaign optimizations
• Oversee site invoices and media reconciliations; ensure accurate and timely vendor payment
• Deliver results to build the client relationship and grow the client's business
• Serve as an escalation point for teams and lead junior team members
• Deploy strong communication to handle multiple lines of communication across clients, agencies, partners, and internal teams
• Build partnerships and relationships internally and externally within planning, analytics, strategy, audience with publishers and service/technology providers
Qualifications
• 5+ years of related experience with 2+ years of management experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners
• Strong digital background inclusive of, Direct IO, OLV, analyzing data, etc.
• Solid understanding of digital planning and activation tools (e.g., DSPs, ComScore, PRISMA, Doubleclick)
• Strong experience with the billing and reconciliation process
• Proven ability to foster strong cross-functional teamwork, getting results across an organization
• Track record of building successful client relationships
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a heavy focus on Excel
• Knowledge of digital planning and buying process with an understanding of various vendors, different cost methods, various reporting, and delivery validation
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think unconventionally in proposing solutions
• A proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively and work well under pressure to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines

Compensation Range: $97,375 - $133,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
