Position Overview

Investment Banking Analysts support transaction execution and client advisory work across mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raises, restructurings, and strategic advisory engagements.

These roles offer intensive analytical training, exposure to live transactions, and close collaboration with senior bankers. Analysts typically work with Associates, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors to deliver high-quality financial analysis and client materials.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain financial models, including 3-statement models, DCFs, LBOs, and accretion/dilution analyses

  • Support M&A, equity and debt capital markets, and restructuring transactions

  • Conduct company, industry, and market research, including comparable company and precedent transaction analysis

  • Assist with financial and commercial due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution

  • Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, management presentations, and internal materials

  • Analyze financial statements and evaluate strategic alternatives for clients

  • Collaborate with senior bankers on deal execution, valuation work, and client strategy


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and corporate finance principles

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines

  • Clear written and verbal communication abilities

  • Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, private equity, audit, or FP&A is preferred but not required

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial research platforms is a plus
