Job description

 A career as an Investment Analyst at National Bank Financial - Wealth Management, means that you’ll be part of a team of 1,000 investment advisors in the 5th largest investment brokerage firm in Canada. In this position, you’ll use your analytical mind and passion for finance to have a positive impact on our organization. Your role is to bring value to our clients by strategically managing their investments, more specifically, within the Gagnon Advisory Group located in Lac-Mégantic. We are also open to considering candidates based in Sherbrooke or in the Chaudière‑Appalaches region.

Your job

  • Analyze and track individual stocks, exchange-traded funds, investment funds and other securities that may be included in investment portfolios
  • Create and regularly update model portfolios
  • Track portfolio performance
  • Produce financial reports
  • Stay up to date on the latest economic news
  • Help managers prepare recommendations for new clients
  • Contribute actively to the preparation of bi-monthly investment committee meetings

You’ll join a team of portfolio managers where you’ll play an essential role.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
  • Three years of experience in the securities industry
