Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Train in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a public transit location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will report security-related concerns, respond to situations according to site procedures, and use clear communication and customer service skills. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report unauthorized access, property concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
