Serve as aBioinformaticsand OperationalLeadsupportingthe adoption and enhancement of enterpriseon-premandcloud bioinformatics platforms and analytical tools.Apply bioinformatics domain knowledge tosupport creationofclearscientific and public health training materials for bioinformatics platforms and tools.Assistwith product demonstrations, stakeholder briefings, and user e nga gement activities to support adoption and feedback including user acceptance testing activities. Partner closely with product managers and engineering teams totake in newbioinformatics use casesandensurebioinformatics platforms areuser- center ed. Workcollaboratively to ensure user satisfaction, drive platform adoption, and deliver actionable solutions to a variety of bioinformatics support and operational challenges. Apply a bioinformatics lens to gather, analyze, and translate scientific and operational requirements from users into platform and product capabilities. Track requirements and delivery progress using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira. This positionis located inAtlanta, GA.

You Have:

5+ years of experience supporting or analyzing bioinformatics workflows, data types, and analytical use cases such as genomics, sequencing data, pipelines, or surveillance analyticsonLinux basedon-premisehigh-performance computing environments

Experience with bioinformatics and genomic toolkits, databases, and scripting languages, including Python, R, or Shell

Experience using parallel programming capabilities through workflow tools, includingSnakemakeorNextflow, onLinux basedon-premisehigh-performance computing environments

Experience with next-generation sequencing, omics data analysis, and open-source omics analysis tools and workflows as they apply to public health genomics

Knowledge of data technologies used in bioinformatics or analytical applications, including SQL, NoSQL databases, or web-based interfaces

Ability to troubleshoot operational issues,identifydependencies and risks, and coordinate with technical teams to drive issues toward resolution

Ability to manage multiple workflows, requirements, tasks, and priorities in a structured delivery environment

Ability to lead client and stakeholder discussions, document requirements, and translate scientific or technical needs into actionable implementation steps

Ability to obtain andmaintaina Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Master’s degree

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
