Position Summaryย 

The People & Culture Administrator / Bilingual Safety Coordinator supports both Human Resources and Safety operations by coordinating recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, training, compliance, safety programs, and day-to-day administrative functions.ย 

This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while partnering closely with Operations, Quality, and leadership to promote a safe, compliant, and engaging workplace. Because much of our workforce is Spanish-speaking, bilingual English/Spanish communication is required.ย 


What You'll Doย 

Human Resources & Employee Experienceย 

  • Support recruiting activities including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding.ย 
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed.ย 
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions, benefits, policies, and company resources.ย 
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.ย 
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, retirement plans, and employee recordkeeping.ย 
  • Assist with performance review administration and employee development initiatives.ย 
  • Help coordinate employee recognition programs, town halls, company events, and engagement activities.ย 
  • Support employee relations matters by maintaining documentation and assisting HR leadership with investigations.ย 
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.ย 

Safety & Complianceย 

  • Coordinate company safety training programs and maintain employee training records.ย 
  • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.ย 
  • Assist with accident and incident investigations, documentation, and corrective actions.ย 
  • Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety policies.ย 
  • Coordinate First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogen, and other required certifications.ย 
  • Monitor PPE usage and recommend improvements when needed.ย 
  • Participate in safety committee meetings and follow up on action items.ย 
  • Assist during OSHA, insurance, regulatory, and audit inspections.ย 
  • Partner with Operations and Quality to promote a proactive safety culture.ย 
  • Reinforce safe work practices through coaching, communication, and employee engagement.ย 

Learning & Developmentย 

  • Serve as administrator for the company's Learning Management System (Alchemy).ย 
  • Create, assign, upload, and manage required training programs.ย 
  • Track employee training completion and follow up on overdue assignments.ย 
  • Generate monthly compliance reports and training metrics.ย 
  • Assist departments in identifying training needs and maintaining audit readiness.ย 

Office & Administrative Supportย 

  • Assist with office operations, visitor coordination, employee badges, and facility access.ย 
  • Support company events, meetings, and logistics.ย 
  • Maintain HR, Safety, and training documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.ย 
  • Prepare reports, SOPs, policies, training materials, and other documentation.ย 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requiredย 

  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Safety, or a related administrative role.ย 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.ย 
  • Experience supporting HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.ย 
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.ย 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.ย 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.ย 
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.ย 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.ย 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).ย 

Preferredย 

  • Experience in manufacturing or food manufacturing.ย 
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred).ย 
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (Alchemy preferred).ย 
  • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification.ย 
  • CPR/First Aid certification.ย 
  • Experience creating policies, SOPs, and training materials.ย 
  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus.ย
