Job description

Inventory Specialist

PROMAN Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join their team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall inventory management program. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory processes and procedures, analyzing inventory data, and ensuring the efficient management of large-volume, small-part inventories.

Responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining inventory control processes and procedures for the designated program, managing and monitoring large-volume inventories consisting of small parts and components, performing inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy, analyzing large amounts of inventory data and identifying key trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights, maintaining accurate inventory records within inventory management systems, investigating and resolving inventory variances in a timely manner, collaborating with warehouse, operations, and management teams to ensure inventory integrity, generating reports and providing recommendations to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency, organizing and prioritizing multiple inventory-related tasks in a fast-paced environment, and following company safety and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred, previous inventory, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred, experience working with large-volume, small-part inventories is highly desirable, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems, ability to organize, interpret, and analyze large amounts of data, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
