Inventory Clerk

Clayton Services is searching for an Inventory Clerk to join a growing manufacturing company in Northwest Houston. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, processing shipping and receiving transactions, supporting production, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $25.00/hour Benefits: Excellent benefits are available after the successful completion of the temporary period, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming materials from vendors and customers
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and inventory accuracy
  • Label, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
  • Perform shipping and order processing for domestic and international shipments
  • Process inventory transactions within the company's ERP system
  • Create and complete work orders
  • Issue materials to production work orders
  • Create Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Perform inventory transfers and adjustments
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Support multiple inventory locations and production projects
  • Participate in daily production meetings to resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain organized inventory records and warehouse documentation
  • Assist with additional warehouse and inventory responsibilities as assigned
Inventory Clerk Skills and Abilities:
