Job description

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support warehouse and inventory operations in the Cranberry Twp, PA area. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, packaging, and shipping materials, parts, and equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy through the company business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify materials against documentation, and unload trucks using a forklift.

  • Uncrate materials using hand and power tools, label products, and move inventory to designated storage locations.

  • Pick and stage materials to fulfill sales orders and production requirements.

  • Package and prepare materials for shipment in accordance with safety and transportation regulations.

  • Coordinate outgoing shipments and load trucks using forklifts.

  • Assemble kits of components for manufacturing operations.

  • Verify Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure order accuracy prior to shipment.

  • Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.

  • Use ERP/MRP systems and other business software to process transactions, track inventory, and locate materials.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.

  • At least 1 year of recent forklift experience required.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a warehouse environment.

  • $25.00 per hour
