Job description

Inventory Specialist – Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Specialist to support inventory and material operations within a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, performing cycle counts, tracking materials within an inventory management system, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Receive, locate, transfer, and track materials
  • Update inventory transactions within an ERP/inventory tracking system
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and records
  • Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
  • Work closely with warehouse, production, and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of inventory/materials experience
  • Previous cycle counting experience
  • Experience using an inventory tracking or ERP system such as D365, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Epicor, or similar
  • Previous forklift operating experience
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
