Job description

Job Title: Inventory Control Warehouse Associate

Job Description

This role supports core warehouse inventory functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving while maintaining accurate inventory records in an ERP environment. You will use pallet jacks, hand carts, and RF scanners to move products and process SAP inventory transactions, perform cycle counts, and complete required documentation to ensure smooth and compliant warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of products.
  • Utilize pallet jacks, hand carts, and RF scanners to safely move materials and accurately track inventory movements.
  • Process SAP inventory transactions to ensure real-time and accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct basic cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies in coordination with the designated supervisor.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain all required paperwork, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and audit documentation.
  • Support inventory control activities to maintain accurate stock levels and proper product organization.
  • Enter and update inventory and shipping data in Excel and other ERP or data entry systems as needed.
  • Follow established procedures for handling products in highly regulated environments such as medical, aerospace, or electronics, when applicable.
  • Collaborate with team members across multiple warehouse departments to support efficient operations and on-time deliveries.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards while working in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • SAP experience is a significant plus, with 1+ year of SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments such as medical, aerospace, or electronics is preferred.
  • Experience with Excel documentation and maintaining inventory-related spreadsheets is preferred.
  • Comfort working with RF scanners and other warehouse technology.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large, brand-new, open warehouse facility with multiple departments and a focus on handling products for a major operation. The location manages truck-delivered products and overstock holding, providing a modern and organized setting for inventory control activities. You will work with pallet jacks, hand carts, RF scanners, SAP, and other ERP tools to manage inventory. This is a 2nd shift position, working from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced, structured warehouse environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
