Role Mission
As a Gucci Senior Operations Controller, you will be proactively contributing to the stores' operational governance, inventory integrity, compliance, and luxury service enablement. You will support management in day-to-day operations including troubleshooting operational, service, facilities, and stockroom issues .
You will make a real difference for each of our clients by offering them unique experience and turning their dreams into a Gucci creation.
Key Accountabilities
Operations
  • Oversee and execute shipping and receiving process and report any issues to Store Director or Operations Manager, taking the necessary steps to resolve;

  • Ensure timely movement of merchandise as directed by Store Director or Operations Manager while adhering to all procedures and guidelines, including but not limited to transfers, RTV's and damages;

  • Ensure an accurate and organized store inventory at all times - oversee store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support and direction from the Store Director or Operations Manager;

  • Develop and share ideas to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs;

  • Support the team in the selling process, ensuring the highest level of client experience;

  • Communicate all discrepancies/issues immediately to management;

  • Process repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines;

  • Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique when needed;

  • Pack, handle, and store merchandise according to Gucci standards;

  • Place orders as needed for all supplies for the office and store;

  • Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines.

Inventory
  • Support Store Operations Controllers to ensure an accurate and organized store inventory at all times;

  • Oversee and execute store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support and direction from the Store Director or Operations Manager

Requirements
  • 3+ years of previous senior retail operations experience and strong analytical and organizational skills

  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and teamwork.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently.

  • Attention to details and accuracy in stock management processes.

  • Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software, including receiving, tracking, and storing merchandise.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Good communication skills to collaborate with store management, sales teams, and other staff members.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the retail industry.

  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to climbing ladders, bending, lifting boxes.

Salary Range - Washington
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $24.30 USD to $27.00 USD.
Eligible employees may also participate in an employee benefits program as well as an incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - The number of hours accrued each month varies based on the employee's band*, their years of service within the Kering Group and Gucci, and their schedule classification (i.e. Full-Time, Part-Time, etc.), subject to occasional exceptions determined in the discretion of Company management. Full-time employees may begin their eligibility at 15 days with the potential to increase to 25 days due to tenure and banding. Part-time employees may begin their eligibility at 9 days with the potential to increase to 20 days due to tenure and work schedule.

  • Paid Sick and Safe Leave - Full time and part-time regular employees are granted 48 hours of paid sick/safe leave upon their hire date. These employees may accrue additional paid sick leave after working enough hours to have accrued the amount allocated up front (i.e., 48 hours). Temporary, seasonal, and fixed-term employees, including interns who are employed directly by the Company will begin accruing paid sick/safe leave upon their hire date, at a rate of 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum accrual cap of 72 hours.
