Position Overview

  • Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 / year (Commensurate with experience; higher compensation is absolutely on the table for an exceptional candidate)
  • Location: Elkridge, MD (In-Office/Warehouse)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role As our Inventory & Operations Assistant, you will bridge the gap between our production team, logistics partners, and vendors to ensure seamless daily operations. We are looking for a sharp, organized professional who is seeking a long-term career home. This role is ideal for someone with solid corporate or business experience who wants to grow with a company, not just use it as a brief stepping stone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Maintain, update, and audit inventory tracking spreadsheets and records; investigate and resolve material discrepancies.
  • Logistics & Shipping: Coordinate with the Production team to organize projects scheduled for shipment; prepare and manage daily pickup schedules and logistics.
  • Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors regarding purchase orders, material sourcing, order status updates, and general inquiries.
  • Quality Control & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy, and collect/organize all receiving documentation.
  • Operational Support: Maintain accurate records of projects leaving the warehouse and support leadership with administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Stability: A proven track record of career stability. We are looking for candidates who typically stay with an employer for at least 2 to 4 years, demonstrating commitment and a desire to grow within a company.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for vendor and internal team collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving & Intellect: A sharp mind with the ability to troubleshoot inventory/logistics issues independently and resourcefully.
  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: General corporate, office, or business experience is required. While prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, purchasing, or supply chain is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to train the right person if they possess the right foundational skills and sharp intellect.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree is strictly required.
  • Employment Status: Candidates who are currently employed are strongly preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and a professional demeanor.
