He passed along this legacy of customer care to his son Jim who led the company's expansion and diversified its brand offerings in the 1980s and 90s with an expanded portfolio including Toyota, Infiniti, Honda, Jaguar, and Land Rover dealerships. Jim Coleman Automotive now has 9 franchises throughout Maryland and can be found in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Clarksville, and Ellicott City. Manage inventory across two brands with different pricing strategies and customer bases Monitor aging units and take action to maintain healthy turn Coordinate trades, dealer swaps, and incoming inventory Market-based pricing and merchandising to stay competitive Work closely with sales and desk to align inventory with demand Ensure lot organization, accuracy, and online representation

What You Need:

Experience in inventory management, used car management, or a similar automotive role Strong understanding of inventory turn, aging, and pricing strategy Familiarity with tools like vAuto, FirstLook, or similar platforms Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication and collaboration with sales teams
