OVERVIEW: The Yacht Inventory Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy, quality, and consistency of all MarineMax yacht inventory listings for premium yacht brands and vessels 50 feet and above. This position serves as the primary liaison between sales teams, yacht brokers, manufacturers, photographers, and marketing teams to ensure inventory is represented accurately and professionally across all MarineMax platforms. This role requires regular travel to MarineMax locations throughout the US to coordinate inventory readiness, photography, inspections, and listing updates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage online inventory listings for luxury yachts 50 feet and above.
  • Ensure all inventory information, specifications, pricing, and media assets are accurate and current.
  • Coordinate photography, video production, and virtual tours for new and existing inventory.
  • Conduct regular audits of yacht listings to ensure consistency and compliance with MarineMax standards.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and brokers to gather inventory information and update listings in a timely manner.
  • Work directly with manufacturers and brand partners to obtain specifications, imagery, and product information.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of listing standards, processes, and best practices for MarineMax Yachts.
  • Coordinate inventory launches and ensures new listings are published promptly and accurately.
  • Travel to MarineMax yacht locations throughout the US to support inventory management initiatives.
  • Monitor inventory presentation across MarineMax websites and third-party listing platforms.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for inventory assets and related materials.
  • Support major boat shows, yacht events, and inventory-related projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, yacht brokerage, marine industry operations, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with luxury products, yachts, or high-value inventory preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
