We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our Calhoun GA team. The Supply Chain Planner will drive accuracy in demand planning and product forecasting. Help ensure alignment between customer demand, inventory availability, and supplier execution. This role is critical to analyzing demand trends, maintaining service levels, optimizing inventory and enabling proactive decision making across the supply chain. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain demand plans and forecasts for large national accounts; monitor in-stock performance and recommend allocation priorities when supply is constrained.
  • Analyze key service and inventory metrics (e.g., out-of-stock SKUs, in-stock rates, weeks of supply) to identify risks and opportunities and support replenishment and purchase order decisions.
  • Plan and prioritize inbound containers, including supplier loading plans, consolidated shipments, and pull-ahead/push-out decisions based on demand, inventory targets, and business priorities.
  • Create and share purchase/supply forecasts with suppliers to align procurement, production planning, and service-level targets.
  • Identify root causes of stockouts, excess inventory, and service failures using data-driven analysis.
  • Provide actionable visibility through reporting and dashboards; define, standardize, and automate inventory and procurement reporting where possible.  
  • Support SIOP processes through data preparation, insights, and alignment on priorities during constrained supply scenarios.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, supplier performance, and data accuracy to enhance overall supply chain efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Mathematics or related field. 4+ years experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or other relevant supply chain functions. 4+ years of demonstrated analytics and data-driven decision-making experience.
  • Preferred:  Project management experience, APICS or IBP certification, Six Sigma or process improvement experience 
  • Technical: Expert in Excel functions. Aptitude to learn new systems and data quickly. Existing business, financial and data acumen or ability to learn quickly. Above-average analytics skills. Data visualization tool experience.  Experience building and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI or Tableau is preferred. 
    Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills. Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on execution and accountability. Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights. Willingness to challenge existing processes and question assumptions to drive continuous improvement
