Description:

PURPOSE OF JOB:

This non-supervisory position is responsible for providing great customer service to customers and assisting the Sales Manager(s).

JOB DUTIES:

1. Primary Responsibilities

· Coordinate New Vehicle Dealer Trades along with paperwork and handle logistics scheduling with trading dealers. Contact Pick-up and Delivery Driver Coordinator to arrange agreed-upon transportation.

· Meet daily with each New Vehicle Sales Manager and create a list of inventory units needed.

· Manage wholesale units that are deemed not for retail for various reasons and represent these units at live auctions.

· Assist with building sales “kits” for each pre-owned vehicle and update as necessary.

· Assist with acquisition of vehicles for specialized programs such as Cadillac Pinnacle.

· Perform Adverse Action Form reporting functions.

· Timely and accurately ensure payment of all related vendor bills. (Car Keys Express, Dave's, Air Tech, Joseph Greenwell, etc).

· Open repair orders for offsite vendors, such as Dave's, with estimates. Maintain files for all open repair orders with estimates and close when completed.

2. Secondary Responsibilities

· Manage Battery Maintenance report and coordinate recommended state of charge corrections.

· Initiate the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) process into General Motors and Subaru on qualifying vehicles.

· Coordinate physical inventory, and reconcile all used, new, and wholesale inventory once every 4-6 weeks and report to management to ensure compliance with auditors and quickly find any missing units.

· Attend one-on-one meetings with General Sales Manager.

3. General

· Ensure prompt and regular attendance.

· Perform other appropriate duties as may be assigned by Management.

· Travel as business needs may require.

4. Quality & Continuous Improvement

· Personally commit to quality in all aspects of work.

· Provide “World Class Customer Service” for internal and external customers.

· Participate in and promote the established Quality Improvement Process (QIP) for continuous improvement.

· Participate in teams to research, measure, and correct problems and to strive for process improvement.

· Communicate and exemplify the Company’s Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Values, and Philosophy.

· Attend at least ten (10) credit hours of training each calendar year to continue development of work-related skills.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:


1. Education:

· High school diploma/equivalent is minimally required.

2. Experience:

· 1+ years of automotive experience is minimally required.

· 1+ years of inventory experience is preferred, but not required.

3. Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:

· Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Strong verbal, written, and active listening communications skills.

· Strong follow-up skills to ensure completion of assigned duties within expected requirements.

· Demonstrate a strong professional presence.

· Maintain confidentiality of business-related information.
