A growing manufacturing company in the Seattle area is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and operational activities. Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for shipping and receiving activities while supporting inventory accuracy and day-to-day operational needs. Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Transportation
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of materials and finished products.
  • Schedule and track deliveries with customers, vendors, and freight carriers.
  • Obtain freight quotes and coordinate transportation services.
  • Communicate delivery updates, changes, and delays to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ensure customers and vendors are prepared for scheduled deliveries and pickups.
  • Coordinate third-party transportation providers and logistics partners.
Shipping & Receiving
  • Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, bills of lading, delivery paperwork, and related records.
  • Ensure outgoing shipments are packaged, documented, and tracked accurately.
  • Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records.
Inventory Management
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Track inventory movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor material availability and communicate shortages as needed.
  • Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control initiatives.
Operations Support
  • Track company equipment, carts, and material movement between facilities and customer locations.
  • Maintain clear records of asset usage and returns.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, purchasing, project teams, and leadership.
  • Support process improvements as the organization continues to grow.

QualificationsRequired
  • 2+ years of logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory, warehouse, or operations coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work onsite during scheduled hours.
Preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, industrial distribution, construction materials, or related industries.
  • Smartsheet experience.
  • ERP system experience.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Previous experience coordinating freight or transportation logistics.
