Job description

Nesco Resource is looking for 2nd Shift Material Handlers in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. Schedule is as follows: Monday- Friday, 3:30 PM to 12 AM, $23/hour.
Job Description:
The material handler will be in charge of moving materials with a forklift, creating labels for shipping/receiving, removing cardboard, assembling and reassembling racks, tracking inventory for the buyer and planner and packing actuators as needed. Positon is in the warehouse/logistics team and will report directly to the warehouse manager.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete all assigned duties. Will be measured by the following:
    • Moving material in and out of palette racks with forklift.
    • Moving required materials with forklift to assembly team.
    • Creating labels for sub assembly using Microsoft Word.
    • Removing waste cardboard and lumber to dumpsters.
    • ssembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves.
    • Taking inventory counts.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous forklift experience.
  • HS Diploma is required.
  • Knowledge of scales and weigh counts.
  • Must have adequate reading and writing skills to create and read labels.
  • Good organizational skills
  • bility to lift up to 70 lbs
