Compensation for this position: $21.00 per hour
Core business hours: 4:00 am - 12:30 pm, (flexibility to work overtime when required)

Responsible for performing cycle counts, audits, and reporting inventory discrepancies. Assist with performing random verification of product movement including the put-away and replenishment processes.
Essential Duties:
  • Conduct daily cycle counts, and internal audits for A, B, C, and D product classifications in a safe and timely manner.
  • Assist Inventory Control Lead to identify the root cause of inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies/issues to Lead.
  • Communicate with Lead for daily audits and counting assignment.
  • Must be willing to operate various Powered Industrial Trucks including but not limited to cherry pickers and forklifts.
  • Perform daily inspection of Powered Industrial Truck lift to make sure equipment is in working condition. Report any safety concerns to analyst, supervisor or manager.
  • Evaluate and process product that is not within company quality standards as damage for future disposition.
  • Train associates, temporaries, and new hires on how to perform basic warehouse related activities.
  • Execute operational activities in accordance with formalized warehouse & distribution management policies and procedures.
  • Assist management in resolving warehouse-related issues such as inventory discrepancies, damaged products, etc.
  • Provide feed-back to management for process and procedure improvements and assist with the implementation.
  • Maintain all warehouse equipment including forklifts, R.F. guns, location racks, computer workstations, etc.
  • Involved in performing corrective actions established by warehouse management to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Enter accurate inventory data in Oracle Warehouse and Inventory Management system.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance and safety programs to ensure effective equipment utilization and safety measures are in place.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Attendance and punctuality are an essential job duty.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Warehouse & distribution environment
  • 6 months - 1 yr related experience or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and General Abilities:
  • General knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and packaging process and procedures.
  • Working knowledge in Warehouse Management and Inventory Control Applications is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Radio Frequency technology including RF gun navigation is preferred
  • Demonstrating ability to proactively work with a variety of situations that impact inventory accuracy.
  • Strong math and organization skills.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work in independently and/or group setting
