Pay varies by position and is based on multiple factors including labor market data and, depending on position, may include education, work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and/or certifications. Additionally, Sportech takes into account the internal equity of current employees when considering compensation. Sportech's reasonable and good-faith estimate for new hire compensation at the time of posting for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Pay may also include variable compensation from time to time such as overtime for non-exempt positions, shift differential for specific shifts, and/or bonus targets (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory integrity processes as well as supporting all other inventory and warehousing initiatives as required. Maintains an inventory of raw materials in stock, on order, and work-in-process. Provides inventory information as needed and may investigate inventory accuracy. Reorders materials or issues reorders requests when appropriate.
Essential Job Functions
  • Leads the day-to-day cycle counting activities to ensure that current counts are being completed while improvements are being made
  • Generates cycle count lists of materials to count on a daily basis
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies as they arise and escalate and adjust inventory as needed
  • Physically counts or leads the count of each product and/or location as necessary to fulfill cycle count program requirements
  • Determines method of inventory correction
  • Enter data through Epicor to update the inventory records in the computer
  • Assists in the training of staff in the methods of cycle counting and inventory transactions
  • Be a change agent and drive inventory accuracy throughout the manufacturing operations
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making
  • Assures a safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area following 5S procedures and practices
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Associate degree strongly preferred
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year or more of relevant experience
  • Forklift training and certification required
  • Ability to lift and perform other physically demanding tasks associated with material handling and receiving
  • Accurate counting skills
  • Some computer skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with team members
  • Ability to lead small groups and provide work direction
