MRO Program Coordinator / Inventory Controller

Established in 1996, the company supports some of the world’s largest multinational manufacturers across the microelectronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, life science, and medical device industries.

Job Summary:

The MRO Program Coordinator is responsible for leading operations in a critical spare parts management program at a busy client manufacturing site. This role requires hands-on experience in supply chain logistics, inventory management, people management, and client-facing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing warehouse operations, shipping/receiving processes, experience dealing with technical products and components, and the drive to ensure service level excellence, customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations on the customer site to ensure smooth execution and delivery of program objectives.

Oversee functions such as warehousing, shipping/receiving, production support, and inventory control.

Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes to ensure product availability and minimal obsolescence.

Coordinate project deliverables, timelines, quality of work, and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and efficient inbound/outbound logistics.

Attend regular operational meetings with colleagues and clients to discuss KPIs, program objectives, ongoing issues, and align on performance goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, serving as the primary escalation point for site-level concerns.

Support root cause analysis and resolution of any operational / supply-chain issues.

Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), track service levels, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, particularly in handling technical goods or equipment.

Identify and implement continuous improvement projects (e.g., lean, 5S, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows and reduce waste.


Required Qualifications:

3+ years’ leadership experience in warehouse / logistics / supply-chain operations.

Proven expertise in inventory control, material flow, shipping/receiving, and cycle counting practices.

Experience working with highly technical or critical spare parts e.g. for manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or maintenance activity, a distinct advantage.

Prior experience using software systems such as ERP, WMS, CMMS

Good client engagement skills with the ability to manage escalations and represent the company in front of important customers.

Strong leadership, communication, people management, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint - and familiar with supply chain tools and data reporting platforms.

Full drivers’ licence required and prior experience driving forklifts a plus

Degree in ‘Supply Chain’, ‘Business’, ‘Engineering’, or related field would be an advantage.


Working Conditions:

  • On-site program coordination role, with hands-on operational duties, and regular interaction with customers both on the floor and in client-facing meetings.
