We're seeking a Manager, Supply Planning and Inventory  to  join our growing Supply Chain organization to enhance supply planning and inventory governance and framework, optimize medium term planning and working capital, aimed at improving our business performance for our Canadian RTE brand (Factor_) and delivering the premium crafted meals to our customers. This role will own and develop with continuous improvement in mind for our supply planning and inventory domain, partnering closely with North American and DC teams, to drive optimal inventory control, ensuring availability and high quality through supply planning. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of strategy and execution in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment. 

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the team - setting clear performance expectations and coach to build a high-performance culture aligned to HelloFresh's DNA and Factor Canada's growth trajectory.
  • Set up and continuously improve the medium term overview on direct material supply, weeks on hand and safety stock optimization to support the DCs and Procurement Operations seamless flow. 
  • Set up a robust inventory governance framework and the subsequent processes fitting into the Factor Canada's growing business needs, providing the accurate visibility to upstream and downstream teams. 
  • Working closely with the DC Warehousing teams to implement a cohesive and well executed inventory control. Drive change management in the DC on the processes and SOP, lead in setting up RACI and implementation. 
  • Contribute directly to the business' financial performance by owning and driving the supply planning and inventory related targets, including but not limited to working capital target, network optimization. 
  • Drive optimization in safety stock principles, set up optimal weeks on hand to balance working capital as well as the production needs. 
  • Optimize the supply network in the medium term to drive efficiency in storage, transportation and secure supply with quality to serve our customers needs. 
  • Support tech and tool launches related to supply planning and inventory management. 
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders across Finance, Commercial, and Operations to align supply planning decisions with business-wide KPIs.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

  • 3-5 years in planning, inventory, and/or supply chain experience with a Bachelor's in Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • Demonstrated people management experience - you've directly managed, coached, and elevated team members, and you take ownership of your team's development as seriously as your own deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and Excel skills. Able to use a root cause analysis mindset to continuously improve to drive optimization in the responsible area.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. Used to working in a high pressure, fast paced, and constantly changing environment.
  • Highly self-driven and resilient - comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting direction without a perfect playbook, and leading through change in a scaling business.
  • An effective collaborator, who empowers and enables others to share ideas, raises awareness, gets buy-in, and delivers fast and well-rounded solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet budgets deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Professional certifications and/or licenses with Lean Six Sigma preferred.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules and cold facilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
