Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Inventory Control Operation Manager oversees inventory accuracy, cycle count process, audits, and reconciliations activities within a warehouse environment. This role leads and supports Inventory Control Coordinators through coaching, training, and performance monitoring while partnering with cross-functional teams to identify challenges, resolve issues, and improve productivity and operational results.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages Inventory Control Coordinators
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee the weekly and monthly cycle count process.
• Ensure inventory records are accurate and complete.
• Montior performance and accuracy of Inventory Control Coordinators.
• Reconcile inbound blind receivers and perform inventory audits.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and trends and proactively create solutions to improve productivity and results.
• Actively lead Inventory Control Coordinators by coaching and training in real time on issues such as performance, attendance, and safety.
*PERFORMS ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AS ASSIGNED*
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma, Associate's degree in related filed preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years warehouse inventory experience.
• Minimum 6 months Supervisory experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience with cycle counting, inventory control, FEFO/FIFO, lot and serial control.
• Experience working with a 3PL organization preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Demonstrated knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and RF Scanners
• Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory accuracy procedures and best practices
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated data analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors, changing temperatures)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and warehouse platforms frequently
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver through the warehouse environment throughout shift
• Ability to safely operate and work around moving warehouse equipment
• Manual dexterity to use a computer, scanner and other inventory-control equipment
