Overview
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for inventory accuracy, integrity, and control across the warehouse operations. This role provides dedicated leadership for inventory management activities that have grown in complexity due to increased volume, traceability requirements, and customer expectations, specifically with program accounts.
The inventory Supervisor ensures inventory data, physical counts, and system controls align to support operational efficiency, service levels, and financial accuracy.

The pay range is between $34.00/hour and $36.00/hour.
Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy and Control
  • Own inventory accuracy across all temperature zones.
  • Lead cycle count programs, reconciliations, and variance resolution.
  • Investigate shorts, damages, and discrepancies with root-cause analysis.
  • Ensure proper location control, slotting integrity, and product identification.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy to support order fulfilment and financial reporting.
  • Support program sales accounts with specific inventory management requirements.
  • Manage product checks for quality.
  • Work with Procurement and vendors on discrepancies.
  • Manage receiving inspections.
  • Oversee OS&D processes.
  • Manage Vendor Compliance programs

Systems and Traceability Support
  • Partner with Operations and IT to ensure WMS accuracy.
  • Support lot/date control and traceability accuracy.
  • Validate system transactions and inventory adjustments.
  • Support audits and customer inquiries related to inventory integrity.

Leadership and Execution
  • Supervise inventory control team members as assigned.
  • Establish standard work, procedures, and expectations.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement
  • Track and report inventory KPIs (accuracy, adjustments, shorts, write-offs)
  • Identify trends and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Operations on inventory initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse systems (WMS) and inventory processes.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead investigations and drive corrective actions.
  • Experience in a multi-temperature food distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of lot/date control and traceability requirements.
  • Able to pass a drug test and background check.
