Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk IV (Tier 2) to join our team in a manufacturing and distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in advanced inventory control operations and systems and a proven ability to independently resolve complex variances and optimize material flow.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day inventory control support to manufacturing and distribution areas.

Plan and execute cycle counts, coordinate physical inventories, and reconcile results.

Research inventory variances and implement corrective actions.

Use inventory control systems and reporting tools to manage material flow and maintain records of quantities, costs, and transactions.

Requisition supplies and verify receipts, identifying physical and financial variances.

Inspect materials and reject defective items per policy.

Prepare inventory records and reports, investigating discrepancies in stock counts.

Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of inventory control practices, cycle counting, and reconciliation.

Proficiency with inventory management systems and reporting tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent judgment.

Ability to inspect materials and enforce quality standards.

Forklift operation capability per site requirements.

5–10 years of relevant inventory control experience.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.

Process improvement or lean inventory practices.
