The Receiving & Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the management and troubleshooting of inventory accuracy across the US Operations and 3PL sites, as well as the receiving process within the Warminster Manufacturing site.Responsible for the planning and orchestration of inventory counts, flow and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. In addition, it is also the inventory Manager’s responsibility to ensure inventory accuracy stays at or above our annual target and when it falls below to engage the correct players to root cause and properly solution the issues. This role will ensure proper scheduling and loading of the dock schedule and raw material put away process. The Inventory Control Manager is a key member of the USA Supply Chain Team and as such participates and/or leads operational initiatives to ensure RFT time behaviors and continuous improvement is spread throughout all groups (e.g. Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning/Procurement, etc.).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, CRC Warehouses, and 3PL distributors to establish SOPs and work instructions for inventory transactions, cycle counting/spot counting and management of these practices and procedures.
• Ensures all Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Warehouse personnel are properly trained on inventory transactions and above-mentioned SOPs/Work Instructions
• Weekly / monthly reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for cycle count completion and Inventory Accuracy.
• Set goals, coach and hold accountable direct report and be responsible for the training and development of operators who make inventory transactions
• Facilitate, prepare, and plan the annual year end cycle count for PA Operations
• Support FIFO and warehouse optimization. Maintain active raw material revisions, serve as focal point for phase in/out materials as stipulated on active or in process bill of materials
• Manage and facilitate warehouse flow optimization, working with production and warehouse personnel to determine storage layout plans, physical and system Kanban’s, min/max order point opportunities, etc.
• Organize and control the materials management activities associated with ensuring inventory is accurately tracked throughout the process and that physical space equals system
• Audit and facilitate the maintenance and management of the PROD IN location within the Warminster Facility, ensuring materials flow through this location smoothly and storage of materials in this working location is limited to only production essential items.
• Manage the dock scheduling of inbound and outbound materials at the Warminster facility; ensure key stakeholders are adhering to the process and consistent flow is maintained. This will include keeping the aisleways clear for safe material movement and manageable dock throughput.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing and inventory management.
• 3-7yrs experience supervising or managing employees
• Significant experience with inventory transactions, cycle counting procedures, and data analysis for root causes across varying disciplines
• Must have ERP experience relating to manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Experience in an ISO 9001 certified facility preferred
• Project management experience is a plus
• Proficient in spreadsheet, database and presentation including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Access.

Education:

• High School Diploma Required
• Undergraduate college degree required
