Inventory Analyst

Compensation Includes
  • Starting Pay Rate of $24-26/hour

  • 8am - 4pm, Monday-Friday

Overview
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the control and accuracy of all inventory as it relates to all system transactions.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
  • Reconciles IFS inventory transactions on a daily basis
  • Processes all PDN's, Product Defect Notifications, daily (inventory issue transactions)
  • Facilitates all cycle counting:
    • Schedules counts.
    • Reconciles discrepancies and determines the root causes
    • Makes inventory adjustments upon approval by established hierarchy
    • Records and tracks inventory accuracy for weekly KPI reporting
  • Plays a major role in assisting the facilitation of all physical inventories
  • Researches all inventory discrepancies, ensures accurate and thorough inventory management and records
  • Has responsibility for preparation of production, inventory, and reconciliation reports and adjustments
  • Responsible for Inventory Control and works closely with ERP systems
  • Performs month end close preparations and transactions:
    • Ensures all product is received in the system prior to close
    • Ensures all inventory and transaction reconciliation is complete and correct prior to month end close
    • Ensures IFS is scheduled to be turned off for month end close, at 7am, the first day of each month

Requirements
  • H.S. diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 yr. in inventory control or accounting or other, relevant supply chain position
  • Computer literate in an ERP system and Microsoft Office with the ability to use workstations or RF scanners, email, copiers and printers
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a sense of urgency
  • Able to work independently at times and with minimal supervision but can also work easily as part of the team when needed
  • Demonstrates initiative and good problem-solving skills
  • Experience driving a reach truck, cherry picker, forklift
  • Strong command of spoken and written English (native or near-native fluency)
