Position Summary

The Inventory Control Manager oversees the accuracy, visibility, movement, and lifecycle management of live goods inventory across multiple growing and distribution locations. This role synchronizes inventory between production, distribution centers, and wholesale customers, ensuring product availability while minimizing shrink, loss, and operational inefficiencies.

The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Logistics, Operations, Sales, and Distribution teams to optimize inventory performance, improve systems and processes, and support a high-volume seasonal business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage inventory accuracy across all growing locations, greenhouses, and distribution centers.
Standardize inventory control processes across multiple sites.
Coordinate inter-site transfers and ensure real-time inventory visibility.
Align inventory with outbound shipping schedules and wholesale fulfillment.
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely product movement.
Develop inventory strategies based on crop cycles, seasonality, and demand.
Track product lifecycle from propagation through sale readiness.
Monitor product quality, aging, and readiness for shipment.
Oversee ERP/WMS inventory systems and improve tracking capabilities.
Develop SOPs and reduce shrink, damage, and inefficiencies.
Lead and train inventory teams across multiple sites.
Provide reporting and analytics to support operational decisions.
Ensure compliance with agricultural and traceability regulations.
