Inventory Control Supervisor- Retail 
Full-Time Hourly Position 
Sunday-Saturday during Retail Hours 
$19.00-$21.00/hour

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to lead our inventory team and ensure smooth, accurate store operations. In this role, you’ll hire, train, and schedule staff, oversee daily inventory activities, manage inbound freight, resolve discrepancies, and partner with buyers. You’ll also support overall store operations by providing leadership as needed, maintaining store standards, assisting with merchandising, and contributing to seasonal and year-end inventory efforts.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Hire, train, schedule and review inventory team.
  • Complete daily receiving of inbound freight, reconcile inventory discrepancies, scheduling and maintenance of stock team
  • Supervise the daily activities of the inventory team and provide daily direction.
  • Assist in managing of store operations in absence of store manager/assistant manager, provide work direction to stock team
  • Complete cycle counts, ensure cleanliness of store, retrieve carts in parking lot, carry outs, merchandising hardgoods products
  • Work with Buyers on inventory issues 
  • Communicate and problem solve with support departments via email, phone and in person.
  •  Follow defined best practices and process flows to ensure inventory accuracy.
  •  Participate in fall inventory and fiscal year-end inventory preparation.
  • Assist with seasonal display setups and tear downs.

General Duties:
  • Unload incoming shipments and transfer outgoing shipments.
  • Receive incoming merchandise via RF gun technology.
  • Identify variances from both internal and external vendors.
  • Unpack, price, re-price and stock merchandise inside and outside.
  • Prepare and update all required paperwork for internal and external vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories.  Resolve any issues.
  • Execute weekly cycle counts. 
  • Reconcile inventory errors using a systematic approach.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail supervisory or management capacity
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good technical knowledge including POS, Window’s, Email and Excel.
  • Demonstrated strength in employee relations and customer service.
  • High energy level with the ability to provide strong leadership, train, delegate and motivate staff.
  • Able to lift product up to 50 pounds frequently, pull and push heavy pallets regularly
  • Interest in working inside and outside.
