Homeland Safety Systems, is a rapidly expanding and ever-changing company with a core focus in industrial and commercial security consulting, design, engineering, and installation of access control, CCTV, and communication equipment for high end, complex electronic security systems. We currently serve throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas.

Inventory Control Manager - The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory, product accuracy, coordinating order fulfillment and delivery of products. This role is responsible for utilizing Cobalt's applicable software for timely inventory updates to confirm inventory is accurate at all times. The manager will oversee the warehouse team, manage daily workflow and monitor quality of work to maximize efficiency. The Warehouse Manager contributes to overall production tracking and fleet management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the inventory expert and thoroughly maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Master all products and understand product naming conventions.
  • Understand procurement contracts, pricelists, and product compliance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop and update warehouse procedures for purchasing, inventory, shipment methods, and equipment utilization.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory count processes and prepare required operational and financial documentation.
  • Maintain weekly truck and tool counts.
  • Manage fleet operations, ensure compliance, and oversee service and sales vehicle maintenance.
  • Train and manage warehouse staff to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach long term goals.
