Job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The inventory control specialist has the primary responsibility of increasing and maintaining company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels, handling all inventory-related issues from start to finish and works on ensuring that optimal inventory is present and ready for shipment.
  • Receiving:Managing labor on container unloads filled with inventory. Confirming inbound inventory and accuracy on container pick list. Storing and moving inventory into designated warehouses/areas. Adding confirmed inventory onto inventory sheets.
  • Accuracy: Managing accuracy of inventory levels by cycle counts every week or two weeks. Confirming inventory pick lists for inbound/Outbound inventory and load BOL of shipment.
  • Inquiries: Assisting warehouse team in finding inventory for outbound orders.
  • Confirming remaining inventory for ordering processing team.
  • Assists in root-cause analysis for inventory errors
  • Assigns product location to all incoming items
  • Monitors and updates company-wide inventory schedule
  • Follows all existing company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining strict guides on inventory organization and placement within warehouse.
  • Technology: Experience with inventory management software/barcode Scanner

  • Minimum of 2 years of inventory management with college degree
  • Software knowledge (*will provide training inventory management with MS-365BC*), MS Excel, Word, E-mail.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
