Pay Range: $18.87 - $26.66 per hour

Summary:
An inventory control analyst is responsible for supporting supply management in all assigned areas, which can be inclusive of acute, non-acute and lab locations. This role involves the planning, physical build, and sustainment of inventory locations across the organization. Depending on assigned locations, analyst may also be responsible for all replenishment activities. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside acute, non-acute, and lab clinicians to design and implement a Kanban inventory management model.
  • Responsible for replenishing assigned Kanban locations
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating assigned Kanban locations as it relates to conversions, new item additions, and/or the removal of product
  • Use supply forecasting methods to help understand location demand
  • Collect and analyze monthly usage to help determine trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Create standard work that can be used as a baseline for department training and continuous improvement activities
  • Perform routine audits to ensure standard work is being followed8. Create purchase orders (i.e., racking, bins, label holders, etc.) using ERP-Infor/Lawson
  • Work closely with the operations, clinical, and procurement teams to identify item standardization opportunities.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have valid IL driver's license.
  • At least one year work experience in a related healthcare or service industry field.
  • Ability to plan daily personal time management and long-term strategies through fiscal budget year activities.
  • Ability to analyze, compose and articulate business opportunities and recommend best proactive outcomes for location Inventory.
  • Prior experience with data inquiry, data entry and P.C. operations.
  • Requires sound math and inquisitive skills resolving system[s] and inventory related issues.
  • One year work experience in a related healthcare or service industry field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and exhibit good oral and written skills.
  • Ability to plan daily personal time management and long-term strategies through fiscal budget year activities.
  • Ability to analyze, compose and articulate business opportunities and recommend best proactive outcomes for location Inventory.
  • Prior experience with data inquiry, data entry and P.C. operations.
