What You'll Do
As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate movement of materials and products throughout the facility while maintaining excellent customer service and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier paperwork.
  • Schedule and communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve delivery discrepancies.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in warehouse management and inventory systems.
  • Track inventory movements and investigate inventory variances.
  • Support dock operations and ensure timely loading and unloading activities.
  • Prepare reports and maintain shipping and receiving records.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and operations teams.
  • Follow all safety, security, and quality procedures.
  • Assist with special projects and startup activities as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, inventory control, or customer service.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
  • Experience with transportation scheduling and carrier coordination.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting processes.
  • Startup operation experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as business needs require.

How you will contribute
  • Answers routine and non-routine inquiries and performs duties involving the collection, verification, and/or dissemination of material levels and customer needs and demands.
  • Update trailer report and Team Board.
  • Complete problem resolution report- carrier claims, no ASN's, vendor discrepancies.
  • Ensures all inbound and outbound transportation windows are met; escalates issues as required
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma; some college is preferred.
  • Experience working in an automotive or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency on computers and Microsoft Office products.
  • Data analysis.
