ICQA Inventory & Quality Control Associate - Food Warehouse $18.50
 

Are you passionate about food quality, safety, and maintaining accurate inventory? We are seeking a detail-oriented ICQA Associate to help ensure the integrity of our food products throughout the warehouse and fulfillment process. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products for quality, monitoring inventory accuracy, supporting proper product rotation (FIFO), and ensuring all food safety and quality standards are met. Your work will play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality products to customers while maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company quality standards.

Location: Hiram, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM & Friday - Tuesday 7:00AM - 4:00PM
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

Duties:
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Inspect food products for quality, freshness, and packaging integrity
  • Verify product rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures
  • Identify, evaluate, and remove short-dated, damaged, or expired products
  • Document inventory discrepancies, damages, and donation-ready products
  • Support fulfillment operations while ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently met
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, and company quality procedures
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of inventory control, quality assurance, food production, or warehouse experience
  • Experience handling food products or working in a food manufacturing/distribution environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability
  • Ability to meet established productivity and quality standards
  • Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment averaging 34°F
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, GMPs, and quality assurance procedures
  • Basic computer skills
