Job description

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities to include inventory control, loss prevention, as well as shipping and receiving documentation. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse by preparing shipments, stage and verify incoming material, and use powered industrial equipment (forklift, hand-crane, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.)
  • Load and unload goods to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient manner
  • Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered
  • Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure appropriate and accurate time-management
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure that all safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • MUST be a team player
  • 1+ years of prior warehouse and forklift experience
  • Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time
  • Able to operate GPS, an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
  • Customer service skills and ability to represent the company in an appropriate manner
