POSITION SUMMARY- Inventory Control Associate – Cycle Counter: This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts throughout the facility; ensuring inventory is accurate and resolving discrepancies which may arise.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Count and verify accuracy of product in assigned inventory locations using RF scanner equipment.
  • Assist in reconciling variances brought forth through cycle counting.
  • Resolve discrepancies which arise during cycle counts, by way of product transfer, relocation, or removing/replacing damaged items.
  • Re-box damaged cartons found in inventory locations, utilizing raw materials/boxes to rework and label maker to reprint carton labels.
  • Actively implement 5S principles during cycle counting process (Sort, Straighten, Sustain, Sweep, Standardize).
  • Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
  • Ability to use computer to perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Observe and follow safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of prior warehouse experience preferred, related to inventory control.

  • Ability to work closely with a large, fast-paced team.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention-to-detail.
  • Strong Mathematical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
